What is Fit2Cure?

Fit2Cure is a non-profit organization founded by a rhabdo survivor. We are dedicated to raising funds and awareness for rhabdomyosarcoma, a vicious, aggressive soft-tissue cancer.

We gratefully accept donations. 100% of monies donated go directly to help fund rhabdomyosarcoma research. To send a donation via our secure online form, please visit the Donations section.

**SPECIAL INCENTIVE ** Stylish rhabdo awareness products!!

With a minimum $22 donation, you will receive a complimentary sturdy

and stylish rhabdo awareness tote bag (while supplies last; for US/Canada only).

Rhabdomyosarcoma is VERY underfunded as it is considered a 'rare cancer'. It is our belief that increasing rhabdo awareness is vital, as it will encourage corporate and government funding for this disease.

What is rhabdomyosarcoma?

Rhabdomyosarcoma is a rare, aggressive childhood cancer that affects children, teenagers, and young adults.   Since it is classified as “rare”, it receives VERY LITTLE research grants.  As a result, survival rates for this cancer are relatively low.

Research money for rhabdomyosarcoma is desperately needed.  In fact, less than 20% of patients with Stage 4 rhabdomyosarcoma survive 5 years or more.

Who started Fit2Cure?

Our organization was founded in October of 2006, by rhabdomyosarcoma survivor K. I. DuBois. With the support of family and friends, Fit2Cure has emerged from a simple idea into a developing project. Fit2Cure was started as a means to raise awareness for this cancer and raise much needed research dollars. We appreciate all comments and feedback, and of course all donations, which will help fund critical rhabdo research!
